A Pennsylvania man who allegedly tracked his ex-girlfriend to South Florida is facing multiple felony charges after police say he held a knife to her throat and forcibly shaved her head during a violent confrontation.

Uladzimir Aliakseyeu, 35, of Richboro, Pennsylvania, was arrested Wednesday in Miami. Authorities say the attack happened after the victim ended their relationship and moved to Florida upon discovering Aliakseyeu was married.

According to an arrest report cited by WPLG, the incident took place on July 24 outside the victim’s apartment complex in North Miami Beach. Police say Aliakseyeu waited in a black BMW SUV in the parking lot and texted the woman, asking her to come outside.

Investigators report that once the woman got into the vehicle, Aliakseyeu pulled out a knife and held it to her throat. During the assault, he allegedly threatened to kill her and dispose of her body in “the ocean.”

The police report states that as the victim tried to escape, Aliakseyeu slashed her forearm and held her down by pressing his knee against her throat. He then allegedly took a pair of electric clippers and shaved portions of her hair.

Police say Aliakseyeu punched the victim multiple times before she eventually broke free and ran for help. He reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived.

Months later, authorities arrested Aliakseyeu when he appeared at a downtown Miami courtroom for a hearing tied to a domestic violence injunction in the case.

Aliakseyeu is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault, false imprisonment with a deadly weapon, domestic battery by strangulation, and simple battery.

He is being held on a $16,000 bond.
