The mother of a 2-year-old boy who died from fentanyl ingestion in Palmdale was arrested Friday on suspicion of murder.
Anaie Flores, 23, was taken into custody at 3:30 p.m. Friday and booked at the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station. She is being held at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station on $2 million bail, according to sheriff’s inmate records.
The case dates back to November 7, 2023, when Palmdale deputies responded around 5:07 p.m. to a call on the 800 block of East Avenue P-15.
Officers found Angel Flores unresponsive. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials confirmed.
