A New Jersey resident has been charged with aggravated manslaughter after reportedly stabbing a 41-year-old man to death during a domestic dispute Monday night in Bayonne, according to officials.
Andrew Fuentes, 28, of Bayonne, was also charged with firearms crimes, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday.
At 10:20 p.m., police responded to a complaint of a disagreement on the first block of Meadow Street and discovered Richard Arcos with a stab wound, according to officials.
Arcos, of Garfield, died of his injuries at a nearby hospital less than an hour later.
Fuentes was detained on the scene. Attorney information for Fuentes was not immediately available.
