New Jersey Attempted Homicide Suspects Apprehended After Interrupting Traffic In Seminole County, Florida

Two young adults on the run from New Jersey were apprehended in Seminole County, Florida, after attempting to flee the police.

According to WESH, deputies apprehended Darren Salazar, 19, and Janelly Ramos, 20, around noon near the busy junction of Red Bug Lake Road and Tuskawilla Road.

Salazar, dissatisfied with his chances of capture, tried a getaway but was eventually apprehended by an unmarked Seminole County Sheriff’s Office car.

The result was a series of non-life-threatening injuries for which he received medical care at a nearby facility.

Meanwhile, Ramos gently surrendered, in stark contrast to her companion’s frenzied escape.

Their arrest and investigation closed the normally bustling road for approximately six and a half hours, aggravating regular vehicles and pedestrians.

The charges against these accused are harsh, demonstrating that actions have consequences regardless of state bounds. According to ClickOrlando, Salazar and Ramos were identified near the intersection around midday, which led to their detention. Salazar faces an additional charge in Seminole County for resisting arrest without violence.
