Murrieta Daycare Operator to Stand Trial on Multiple Child Molestation Charges

Woman Charged After 76-Year-Old Michigan Woman Found Dead in Driveway

A Murrieta daycare operator accused of molesting several young girls over a period of four years has been ordered to stand trial on multiple felony charges.

Marvin Alberto Ulloa, 64, was arrested in January following an investigation by the Murrieta Police Department. On Tuesday, Riverside County Superior Court Judge Johnnetta Anderson ruled there is sufficient evidence for Ulloa to be tried on:

  • Nine counts of lewd acts on a minor,

  • Two counts of forced oral copulation of a child under 10,

  • And sentence-enhancing allegations of targeting more than one victim.

Court Proceedings and Next Steps

Ulloa’s post-preliminary arraignment is scheduled for January 16 at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta. He remains in custody at the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning on $11 million bail.

Details of the Allegations

Police say they were notified on January 7 about possible sexual abuse involving a girl identified only as “C.F.” Court documents state the alleged incidents occurred at Ulloa Family Daycare, run from a residence on the 27700 block of Hackberry Street, near Clinton Keith Road.

According to court records, the alleged abuse involving “C.F.” happened between July 2020 and July 2023. Prosecutors argue the child was “particularly vulnerable” and that Ulloa allegedly abused his position of trust.

Detectives investigated for several weeks before serving an arrest warrant at Ulloa’s home on January 28.

Additional Allegations

After Ulloa’s arrest, new evidence surfaced involving a separate victim in 2024, leading to additional charges being filed in March, court documents show.

Authorities also noted that there was no record of the daycare being registered with the California Department of Social Services.

Court records indicate Ulloa has no prior felony convictions in Riverside County.
