A man was found shot to death Wednesday night in an alley on the city’s South Side, according to Chicago police.
Officers responded to the 7200 block of South Sangamon Street in the Englewood neighborhood just before 11:30 p.m., where they discovered an unresponsive man with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
Police say the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and no arrests have been made. Area One detectives are leading the investigation.
