Baltimore police have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with a shooting that injured another man during a violent weekend that left three people dead and at least seven others injured citywide.

When officers located Harron, he was already suffering from injuries of his own. He was transported to a hospital for treatment before being booked into Central Booking on felony charges.
The arrest comes after one of the most violent weekends in recent months. According to police, three men were killed and multiple people were wounded across several incidents throughout the city. At least four of the victims were 26 years old or younger.
One man was fatally shot Sunday in the 3200 block of Chelsea Terrace in Northwest Baltimore. Another shooting, in the 3200 block of West North Avenue, left one man dead and two others injured. In a third incident, police say a 32-year-old man was killed and an 18-year-old woman was wounded in a shooting in the 400 block of West Saratoga Street.
Despite the weekend surge, overall violent crime in Baltimore has dropped significantly compared to last year. Police data shows the city has recorded 123 homicides so far this year, down from 180 at the same point in 2024. Non-fatal shootings have also decreased—from 375 last year to 285 this year.
Earlier this month, the mayor’s office reported that Baltimore has seen a 31% decline in homicides and a 22% drop in non-fatal shootings, marking one of the largest year-to-year declines the city has experienced in recent history.
