GALVESTON — A Galveston man is in custody after police seized illegal prescription drugs and firearms during a raid on his home Tuesday.
According to a police press release, officers from the Galveston Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit, along with special operations personnel, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1100 block of Avenue M. Inside, they found Xanax, Promethazine, and three handguns.
John Roberson, 43, was arrested without incident and faces multiple drug-related charges. His bond was set at $350,000.
Police Chief Doug Balli said the arrest reflects the department’s continued commitment to targeting illegal drug activity and protecting the community.
