Inmate Escapes From Los Angeles County Facility; Search Underway

Authorities are searching for a man who walked out of a reentry program facility in Los Angeles County on Saturday, September 27.

According to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), 37-year-old Jeremy Hendricks left the jail at 11:15 a.m. after reportedly tampering with his ankle monitor.

Staff confirmed his missing status after he went unaccounted for during an emergency count.

His last known location was 37th and Hill Street.

Hendricks is characterized as 5’10”, 185 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen dressed in a black t-shirt, black jeans, and black shoes.

Hendricks has been at the prison since August 13, 2025, serving a 20-year term for assault with a semiautomatic firearm and second-degree robbery.
