A 43-year-old woman from Washington, Illinois, has been arrested after allegedly having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy and later giving birth to his child.
Authorities charged Robyn Polston with two counts each of criminal sexual assault of a minor and possession of child pornography. She remains in custody, with her next court appearance set for December 4.
According to court documents, the case began after Polston gave birth in January, initially claiming the father was a man in his 20s. However, DNA testing later confirmed that the father was a teenage boy.
Investigators discovered that the boy first met Polston while attending a middle school dance in May 2023 with her daughter, where Polston was serving as a chaperone. The two allegedly stayed in contact, and the relationship continued after the boy moved back to the area in August 2024.
Police reportedly found explicit images and videos of the pair on the teen’s phone, some allegedly taken by Polston herself.
