Houston had patches of fog on Sunday morning, then turned mostly sunny with a high around 73 degrees.
Winds moved from west to northwest in the afternoon, with gusts reaching 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
Another cold front will approach in Houston on Sunday evening, bringing northwest winds of 15-20 mph and decreasing temperatures overnight, according to the Houston Chronicle. Monday is predicted to be sunny, with a high around 59 degrees and a low around 41 degrees.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will gradually rise in the middle of the week, hitting around 63 degrees on Tuesday and 74 on Wednesday. High temperatures might reach 77 degrees by Thursday, with largely sunny days and partly overcast nights behind the cold front.
