Homeless Daughter Detained After Unwanted Return To Mother’s Home

A homeless woman in Leesburg was arrested for trespassing after deputies discovered her on her mother’s front porch.

Deputies arrived to a home on Sanford Street in Leesburg at 11:20 p.m. Monday after the mother of 38-year-old Deanna Marie Reyneveld complained she was trespassing, according to an arrest record from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

While en route, the deputies discovered Reyneveld had received a trespass warning on April 22. According to the report, she was standing on the front porch with her mother when law enforcement arrived.

Reyneveld was then detained and charged with trespassing on an occupied structure or conveyance. She was taken to Lake County Jail and bond was set at $1,000.

She was also tasered in jail after being caught for trespassing at another Leesburg home in August 2024.
