On November 7, 2025, Harris County deputies responded to a welfare check at a residence in the 13600 block of Perry Road and discovered a toddler wandering around alone for many hours.
Deputy Palacios and her K9 partner, Hades, conducted a comprehensive search of the surrounding region to find the child’s guardian. Endea Green, 34, the child’s mother, was found and arrested.
Green was brought into Harris County Jail on a charge of child endangerment, and his bond was set at $7,500 by the 338th District Court.
Constable Mark Herman applauded the deputies’ actions, stating that the child was securely reconnected with authorities and taken out of a dangerous situation.
