Four Men Hospitalized After Mass Shooting On Chicago’s South Side

Four men were hospitalized during a mass shooting in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood on Friday night.

Just after 9:30 p.m., Chicago police responded to a report of a person shot and discovered a 38-year-old man with gunshot wounds in the 6600 block of South Halsted.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.

According to police, three other victims drove themselves to other hospitals after being shot in the same location. Two men, ages 36 and 35, were shot in the legs, while a 49-year-old man was wounded in the calf and thigh.

The additional victims were listed in good condition.

There have been no arrests made.

Area One detectives are conducting an investigation.
