A Florida woman is facing serious charges after allegedly stabbing a former friend in the head during a fight and later bragging about the attack in graphic social media videos, authorities said.
According to People, 29-year-old Shakia Jenkins allegedly stabbed her onetime friend after the two argued at a Miami club and continued the confrontation in a convenience store parking lot.
The victim, whose name has not been released, told police she felt a “sharp object stabbing” her face during the altercation, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Law&Crime.
Investigators say the victim showed officers an Instagram Live video in which Jenkins brandished a “small black knife” and compared herself to horror movie villains, declaring: “I stabbed that ho, call me Chucky and call me Michael Myers.”
Authorities also reviewed additional clips where Jenkins taunted the victim, including a TikTok video in which she admitted she tried to stab the woman in her “motherf***ing brain.” In another video, she allegedly raged: “I should have put a bullet in that hoe mouth.”
Jenkins now faces charges of first-degree attempted murder, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and making written or electronic threats to kill or cause bodily harm. She has pleaded not guilty.
