Fentanyl, Pills Seized In Spring Hill Raid; Two Arrested By Detectives

Two people were detained Thursday following a narcotics investigation that led detectives from the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office to a residence on Bishop Road in Spring Hill.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, the Vice and Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 2175 Bishop Road on October 31 and discovered fentanyl, pills, and other drug paraphernalia. According to detectives, the operation was the result of an ongoing investigation into alleged narcotics sales from both the residence and a travel trailer behind the home.

Investigators identified one of the suspects as Chad Faucher, 38, a Folk Nation gang member who was reportedly dealing narcotics. Jennifer Johns, 46, was also arrested at the scene without incident.

A search of the trailer reportedly turned up fentanyl, different medications, and drug distribution tools. Both suspects were detained on several felony offenses.

Faucher is charged with many charges, including possession and sale of prohibited narcotics, unauthorized use of a communication device, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held without a bond. Johns was charged with possession of a controlled narcotic and paraphernalia, and his bond was set at $2,000.

The Sheriff’s Office stated that the arrests are part of an ongoing attempt to disrupt local narcotics activities, and urged locals to continue reporting suspicious activity.
