Delano police are investigating a string of armed robberies that have occurred in the city since September.
The first incident took place on Sept. 6 at an AMPM on Ellington Street, where two men, one armed with a black handgun, stole about $500 at gunpoint.
On Oct. 25, three men, one with a handgun, robbed a Fastrip on Cecil Avenue, taking merchandise and roughly $1,000 in cash.
The most recent robbery occurred Nov. 6 at the same Fastrip location, when two men—one with a handgun, the other with a knife—forced an employee inside, stealing merchandise and about $150 in cash.
