Decomposed Body Found in Singer D4vd’s Impounded Tesla in Los Angeles

Los Angeles police discovered a badly decomposed body Monday inside a Tesla owned by singer D4vd at an impound lot on North Mansfield Avenue.

Officers responded after staff reported a foul odor coming from the vehicle, which had been towed and stored at Hollywood Tow for several days. Investigators found the remains in a bag inside the trunk.

The medical examiner’s office identified the victim as a female wearing a tube top, black leggings, a yellow bracelet, and stud earrings. She had wavy black hair and weighed about 71 pounds. Officials said she had been dead for “an extended period” before discovery. Her age and ethnicity remain undetermined.

The case is being treated as a death investigation, police confirmed.

D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, is currently on his Withered World Tour and was scheduled to perform Tuesday night in Minneapolis. His spokesperson said the singer has been informed, remains on tour, and is “fully cooperating with the authorities.” Universal Music Group referred questions to his attorney, who has not commented.

Separately, police reported finding another body Tuesday in a vehicle at a tow yard in South Los Angeles. Investigators said there is no known connection between the two cases.
