Dallas Police Arrested 3 People During Proactive Patrols Including A Fugitive And Alleged Imposter Lawyer

During a recent operation on Dallas streets, local law enforcement officials made numerous arrests while conducting proactive foot patrols. According to a Dallas Police Department social media post, CBD Task Force officers raided the 900 block of Pacific Avenue last week and arrested three people for various crimes on Tuesday.

Dallas Police stated that their officers were conducting standard surveillance when they spotted suspicious behavior, which prompted an investigation. Marcus West, 40, was apprehended for allegedly impersonating a lawyer; Demonta Eskew, 34, was arrested on a U.S. Marshals Service warrant for enticing a minor for indecent purposes; and Joseph Jones, 31, was wanted on multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Each arrest was carried out without incident, demonstrating the routine’s effectiveness and law enforcement’s calm determination in the community.

Assistant Chief Teena Schultz, Commander of the Patrol Bravo Bureau, praised the officers’ actions in a statement, explaining, according to the Dallas Police Department, “Through proactive foot patrols and swift action, we continue to deter suspicious activity and protect our community.” This statement emphasizes a dedication not only to law enforcement but also to a presence in the community that both observes and protects.
