We work to get every score, name and date right. When we make a mistake, we fix it quickly and openly.
- Factual errors (a wrong score, name, date, number or claim) are fixed in the story, and a note at the end says what changed and when. Example: Correction, Nov. 2, 2026: An earlier version of this story gave the wrong final score. It was 28-21.
- Updates with new information are marked Update with the date.
- Small fixes to spelling or grammar that do not change the meaning are made without a note.
- We do not quietly delete stories. If a story must be removed, we say so.
