Chambersburg Woman Charged With Assaulting Her Ex, Damaging Wall And Stealing Hundreds Of Cash

A Chambersburg woman is facing burglary and other charges after an alleged domestic incident over the weekend. Madison Rayne Patterson failed to post a $100,000 bond after being charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor criminal mischief, theft, assault, criminal trespass, and harassment. She remains in the Franklin County Jail.

Pennsylvania State Police were summoned to a home on Apple Way in St. Thomas Township at about 4:14 a.m. on November 1st for a reported domestic disturbance between ex-partners. Troopers would be able to speak with Patterson, who was sitting in the driver’s seat of a white BMW and was “manifestly under the influence of alcohol,” which led to her arrest.

PSP would locate the victim inside a nearby home, with bruising and scratches on his forehead, left cheek, and arm. When PSP arrived at the victim’s home early that morning, he told her that he had recently broken up with Patterson, and she accused him of inappropriate behavior. PSP reported that Patterson repeatedly physically assaulted the victim, striking him and yanking his hair.

Troopers say the victim managed to escape into his home, but Patterson also went in without permission. Patterson, according to PSP, would damage the drywall in a variety of ways, including punching a hole in it. This scene would continue, with PSP reporting that an A/C unit was damaged and $757 in cash was taken from a drawer and later discovered in Patterson’s pink handbag. Patterson repeatedly honked her car’s horn at the victim, preventing him from calling the police.

Madison Patterson failed to post a $100,000 bond and is still jailed at Franklin County Jail.
