Devone Cerreiro of Carmel won the top prize in the VIP Millions scratch-off game, the New York Lottery announced on Thursday, October 23.
He chose to collect his winnings in the form of a one-time lump sum payment of $651,010 after all statutory withholdings.
Cerreiro purchased the winning ticket at Ali’s winning Place & Convenience, 718 McLean Ave. in Yonkers, according to lottery officials.
As of this week, 11 $1 million prizes and two $5 million jackpots remained unclaimed from the VIP Millions ticket.
