California Mom Heartbroken After Second-Grade Daughter Pinned Down by Three Boys at School

California — A California mother says she was left devastated after learning that her second-grade daughter was pinned down and assaulted by three boys during recess at school.

The mother, who shared her story on TikTok, explained that her daughter’s teacher pulled her aside to discuss the incident. According to the teacher, three boys chased her daughter, tackled her to the ground, and held her down. One of them repeatedly pinched her in what the mother described as an “aggressive” manner.

Although a teacher eventually intervened to stop the attack, the mother said the damage was already done. “I just felt my stomach sink because I just couldn’t fathom how in the world my second grader needs to now understand that feeling already,” she said. “There is literally no worse feeling on the planet.”

The mother added that while her daughter appeared to be physically fine, the emotional impact was clear. She is now seeking advice on activities or classes that could teach her daughter self-defense at such a young age.

Public Reaction

The story drew strong reactions online. Many users urged the mother to report the assault to authorities. “I would call the police. I’m not joking,” one person wrote.

While some warned against involving law enforcement, others stressed that the seriousness of the assault warranted it. “She is well within her right to file a report,” one commenter said. “At least with police, you start an actual paper trail in case this behavior continues to escalate.”

The incident has sparked a larger conversation about school accountability, student safety, and the importance of teaching both prevention and empowerment to children at an early age.

Similar thing happened to my daughter in kindergarten. School refused to admit there was a problem and we ended up changing schools. Best decision for our family!
