Man killed, cars damaged in North Miami Beach shooting

A Baltimore man was arrested and charged following an attempted robbery in Glen Burnie.

According to police, Rasheed Jackson, 28, is facing charges in connection with the incident.

On August 16, at about 9:50 a.m., officers responded to the 7200 block of Ritchie Highway for a robbery report.

Jackson approached a female victim who had retrieved cash from a Bank of America ATM, flashed a handgun, and demanded money.

The woman fled, but Jackson caught up with her and robbed her of her money and cell phone before fleeing.

While on the scene, police learned of another attempted robbery in the 7400 block of Ritchie Highway by a man matching Jackson’s description.

During that attempt, Jackson approached a victim’s car in a drive-through ATM lane and tried to open the victim’s door.

Fortunately, the sufferer was able to escape Jackson.

Jackson was found with a replica pistol, as well as the robbery victim’s cash and cell phone.

He was detained and is currently facing charges.
