Authorities Seek Three Men in Norwalk Fatal Shooting

Authorities are asking the public for help in locating three men suspected in a fatal shooting in Norwalk. The incident occurred as the victim was returning to his vehicle after completing a transaction at a check-cashing business.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were called on Monday to the 14000 block of Pioneer Boulevard following reports of shots fired. The victim was found lying in front of the business with a gunshot wound and was transported by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics to a hospital, where he later died. The victim’s name has not been released pending family notification.

According to officials, as the victim exited the check-cashing establishment, three male suspects approached him, attempting to rob him and steal his vehicle. The victim resisted, and one of the suspects fired a shot before the group fled on foot, heading west on Pioneer Boulevard.
