A North Carolina man is being held without bond this weekend following his arrest on serious charges involving the kidnapping and assault of his girlfriend.
Authorities took Jackson Bello into custody after warrants detailed a violent altercation. Court documents obtained by WITN allege Bello forcibly confined the woman, moving her “from one place to another” against her will.
Investigators say the situation turned physical, with warrants alleging Bello struck the woman multiple times. The documents describe him punching, grabbing, and throwing the victim during the incident.
Beyond the physical assault, the warrants indicate Bello made explicit threats against the woman’s life, allegedly telling her, “I will kill you,” while threatening to beat her.
Bello now faces multiple charges, including first-degree kidnapping, assault on a female, communicating threats, and a misdemeanor domestic violence offense.
He remains in custody at the Pitt County Detention Center. A judge denied bond, and Bello is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday.
