A man suspected of committing a murder in Benson last week has been detained, according to Omaha police.
Ve’Angelo Moore, 22, was arrested near 16th and Farnam Streets at around 5:50 p.m. An Omaha police officer confirmed this information.
Moore is suspected of killing Joshua Perrin, 34, on November 11 near 56th and Hamilton Streets, according to authorities.
According to investigators, he will face charges including first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, second-degree assault, and two counts of using a handgun to conduct a felony.
