Authorities have arrested a 59-year-old Bellflower man, identified as Anthony Fierro, in connection with a months-long string of burglaries and identity thefts throughout Ventura County.
According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, Fierro was tracked down after an extensive joint investigation between the Crime Analysis Unit and the East County Investigations Bureau – Property Crimes Unit. The alleged thefts targeted medical offices and retail stores in Thousand Oaks, Woodland Hills, Moorpark, and Camarillo, with the spree beginning on July 3, 2025, when a victim reported their wallet stolen and credit cards fraudulently used in Los Angeles County.
Detectives arrested Fierro on November 6, after observing him leave a department store with stolen goods and a victim’s credit cards. He was taken into custody without incident and now faces multiple felony charges, including burglary and identity theft. Fierro remains jailed with bail set at $400,000.
Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity. “If you see something, say something,” the Thousand Oaks Police Department stated, reminding the public that even safe communities can be targets of crime.
