2 Men Apprehended At Rush Oak Park Hospital

Two men were apprehended at Rush Oak Park Hospital in the early hours of Monday, November 6.

Oak Park police arrested a 26-year-old man for battery at the hospital soon before 5:30 a.m. on November 6, according to authorities. Police said the individual was processed and released with a notice to appear in court.

Just after 4:50 a.m., police detained a 36-year-old Chicago man for criminal trespassing and resisting arrest at the hospital. Police said the individual also had five outstanding Cook County warrants.

Domestic battery arrest

Oak Park police arrested a man for domestic battery.

On November 4, police arrested a 38-year-old Oak Park man in the 1100 block of Oak Park Avenue on charges of domestic violence. He was taken to the station, processed, and held pending bond hearings, according to police.

Motor vehicle burglaries

Oak Park police are investigating a spate of motor vehicle burglaries that occurred during the last week. According to authorities, nine motor vehicle burglaries occurred in the village between November 4 and November 9.

In one of the cases, a 9-millimeter handgun and sunglasses were stolen from a car parked in the 100 block of North Oak Park Avenue. The handgun was reported to L.E.A.D.S., according to police.
