On Thursday, November 6, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said that eight stolen vehicles and three firearms were recovered as part of a coordinated law enforcement operation in the Portland region.
During the ten-hour operation, MCSO deputies collaborated with Portland Police Bureau officers to address ongoing vehicle thefts in the area. Authorities reported that officers set up perimeters to contain three suspects who attempted to flee.
According to the MCSO, seven people were arrested during the expedition. Deputies credited close collaboration and quick action with stopping future escapes and retrieving stolen vehicles and weapons.
The agency praised everyone involved, emphasizing the necessity of coordinated enforcement operations against vehicle theft, which continues to affect Portland and the neighboring areas.
Authorities have not yet published the identities of those arrested or any more information regarding the potential allegations.
