Central Florida Man Found Guilty Of Trafficking In Fentanyl

A Central Florida man was recently convicted of trafficking fentanyl.

Following a two-day trial, a Volusia County jury convicted Kenneth Ross Jr. of fentanyl trafficking, oxycodone possession, and possession of paraphernalia.

Immediately after the verdict, the defendant was sentenced to 25 years in jail.

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Ross’ Deltona house on January 9, 2025, following a month-long investigation.

Detectives discovered substantial stashes of fentanyl and oxycodone. In addition, a firearm and $25,000 were discovered in the defendant’s bedroom.

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office investigated the case. Daniel Megaro and Philip Dunlop, Assistant State Attorneys, successfully tried the case for the state. The Honorable Karen Foxman ruled over the case and pronounced the sentence.
