Virginia Man Sentenced To Prison For Molesting Girl In Hanover Township

A man formerly from Hanover Township was sentenced to up to 23 months in prison for inappropriately touching a girl.

Luzerne County Judge Michael T. Vough sentenced Robert David Logan Jr., 57, of Roanoke, Va., to nine to 23 months in the county correctional facility on a charge of indecent assault. Logan pleaded guilty to the allegation on July 28.

Hanover Township police charged Logan in June 2023 following a Childline complaint and a forensic interview at the Luzerne County Children’s Advocacy Center.

According to court records, the girl reported that Logan touched her improperly many times during the interview.

Logan’s residence must be registered with the state for the rest of his life under the Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Act.

Logan was given credit for 306 days of time served.
