Armed Robbery Suspect Apprehended Two Years After Lexington Park Witnesses Violent Assault, Robbery

Terrell Anthony Duckett, 29, of Hagerstown, was arrested in Lexington Park on Oct. 27, 2025, on a warrant related to a grand jury indictment containing various felony offenses. Duckett is charged with armed robbery, robbery, first-degree assault, theft of $25,000 to less than $100,000, and unlawful seizure of a motor vehicle.

According to court documents, the allegations come from an incident on October 4, 2023, in which Duckett allegedly assaulted a person with a lethal weapon before stealing the victim’s wallet, cell phone, and car keys. According to court filings, Duckett stole the victim’s Toyota Camry after the assault and left.

According to police records, the arrest warrant was satisfied after Duckett was apprehended. He is still in detention until further legal processes. According to court documents, Duckett’s jury trial is planned on February 23, 2026.

Under Maryland law, the potential punishments for the crimes are as follows: armed robbery, up to 20 years in prison; robbery, up to 15 years; first-degree assault, up to 25 years; theft of $25,000 to under $100,000, up to 10 years; and motor vehicle unlawful taking, up to five years.
