A Dallas police officer was recently apprehended in Royse City for allegedly committing domestic violence.
The Royse City Police Department arrested Officer Armando Jaramillo on Tuesday morning, according to the Dallas Police Department.
He was brought into Rockwall County Jail and charged with assault resulting in bodily harm to a family member.
Jaramillo has served in the department’s Northwest Patrol Division since 2022.
He is presently on administrative leave pending the results of an internal investigation.
Neither Dallas nor Royse City police have provided information regarding the crime.
There is no information on who the claimed victim is or how they are related to Jaramillo.
