2 Los Angeles Men Apprehended in Connection with SLO County Pharmacy Burglaries

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office, on November 4, 2025, apprehended two Los Angeles men in connection with pharmacy burglaries in Nipomo and Templeton.

The Sheriff’s Office conducted the arrests with the assistance of the California Highway Patrol.

Around 4:40 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary in progress at a pharmacy in the 600 block of West Tefft Street in Nipomo.

The California Highway Patrol responded as deputies were heading to the area. When a CHP officer arrived, the suspects were still on the scene and tried to flee on foot. After a brief chase, one of the suspects was apprehended in the vicinity.

Sheriff’s deputies observed a car, seemingly associated with the crime, leaving the area. They initiated a traffic stop and apprehended the driver, the only occupant of the vehicle.

Based on evidence retrieved from the vehicle, detectives concluded that the detained driver was closely linked to the Nipomo crime.

A further investigation linked the same suspects to another pharmacy burglary that occurred earlier the same morning in Templeton, in the 1300 block of Las Tablas Road.

Based on the facts and evidence gathered at both places, authorities believe the Templeton burglary occurred prior to the Nipomo event.

The suspects, 32-year-old Andre Story and 41-year-old Brandon Williams, are both from Los Angeles. They were booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on burglary and conspiracy counts.

The inquiry is still ongoing, and both men remain in detention.
