Massive Meth Lab Dismantled in Oildale; Over 3,670 Pounds of Meth Seized, Five Arrested

Authorities dismantled a large methamphetamine conversion lab in a residential home in Oildale, seizing more than 3,670 pounds of meth in solid and liquid form and arresting five suspects.

Investigators recovered approximately 953.9 pounds of methamphetamine and more than 2,725 pounds of meth in solution during the search.

On October 30, 2025, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), working with the Kern County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (KC-HIDTA), Special Services Unit, and Kern County Probation Department, concluded a narcotics investigation involving multiple traffic stops and a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of Rian Noelle Court in Oildale.

During surveillance, investigators observed:

  • Christian Castro, 29, of Sinaloa, Mexico

  • Kymberly Lopez-Garcia, 22, of Los Angeles

  • Jesus Felix-Castro, 26, of Sinaloa, Mexico

leaving the Bakersfield residence. They were stopped while driving northbound on Highway 99 south of Delano and were found with approximately 10 pounds of methamphetamine.

Authorities located two additional suspects during the search warrant:

  • Fausto Zazueta-Beltran, 49, of Sinaloa, Mexico — found at the conversion lab

  • Casimiro Violante-Lopez, 46, of Mexicali, Mexico — arrested in the 17000 block of Riviera Street

All five suspects were taken into custody for their roles in operating the clandestine meth conversion lab.

The suspects were booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Lerdo Justice Facility on charges including:

  • Manufacturing a controlled substance

  • Possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell

  • Transportation of a controlled substance

  • Maintaining a residence for drug sales

  • Conspiracy to commit a crime

Casimiro Violante-Lopez was previously involved in a 2021 KC-HIDTA investigation that resulted in the seizure of 53 pounds of meth. He also had an active felony warrant related to that case.

Kern County Environmental Health and Kern County Code Compliance teams responded to handle hazardous chemicals found on the property.
The Kern County District Attorney’s Office Regional Crime Lab Response Team processed the scene for forensic evidence.

Officials say the operation successfully dismantled a large-scale meth conversion lab, preventing further distribution of dangerous narcotics.
