A 28-year-old man has been charged in the fatal shooting of his brother over the weekend in Camden, New Jersey, officials announced.
Anarkis Delgado is facing first-degree murder, along with charges of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He is accused of killing his 29-year-old brother, Raymond Delgado, on Saturday.
The shooting occurred on the 500 block of Pearl Street. Officers arrived to find Raymond Delgado on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:31 p.m., officials said.
After investigators identified him as the suspect, Anarkis Delgado turned himself in to police.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact law enforcement.
