2 People Arrested After Drug Bust In North Carolina

Pitt County authorities detained two people on October 31 after conducting a search of a residence tied to illegal drug and firearm activity.

The operation was carried out by detectives from the Special Operations, Gang and Gun, and Major Crimes Units, as well as deputies from Community Patrol and K-9 Units. It marked the end of a two-month investigation into drug sales in the county.

Information from Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers and other sources aided the inquiry.

Officials claimed the search resulted in the recovery of illegal substances, three weapons, and ammunition.

Reginald Lamont Stancil, 53, was arrested and charged with three counts of cocaine possession with intent to sell or distribute, maintaining a habitation for a controlled substance, and being a felon in possession of a handgun. He is being jailed in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond.

Jennifer Todd King, 35, was charged with possessing cocaine and drug paraphernalia. She came before a Pitt County Magistrate, was granted a $10,000 secured bond, and then posted bond to be released.
