A Duncanville Narcotics investigation led to the seizure of approximately $10 million in illegal narcotics and weapons on November 3. The Duncanville Police Department is pleased to announce that three persons have been identified and will face federal drugs charges following a lengthy police investigation that culminated in the seizure of approximately $10 million in illegal narcotics.
Over the last few weeks, the Duncanville Narcotics Unit has undertaken a thorough investigation into a narcotics distribution network responsible for trafficking large amounts of methamphetamine across Duncanville and Dallas County. Detectives worked with DEA agents to identify persons who were actively making methamphetamine at a Dallas County residence.
On October 27, the Duncanville Narcotics Unit, Duncanville SWAT Team, and DEA officials carried out a high-risk search warrant at a Dallas County property. Inside, police located a functioning methamphetamine conversion laboratory. Investigators confiscated about 250 kg of methamphetamine and several guns. The recovered narcotics are expected to be worth up to $10 million on the street.
“I’m incredibly proud of our detectives and their tenacity during this investigation,” said Duncanville Chief of Police Matt Stogner. “Our Narcotics Unit, in partnership with select DEA personnel, demonstrated exceptional dedication and professionalism in dismantling a significant methamphetamine distribution network harming our community.”
