6 Men Wanted For Beating And Pistol-whipping Man In Manhattan Sneaker Robbery

A group of men beat, pistol-whipped, and robbed a man of his Nike sneakers in Upper Manhattan on Friday, according to police, who published images of six suspects.

The NYPD reported that a broad daylight attack on September 28 left the 21-year-old victim hospitalized.

He was walking at West 146th Street and Broadway in Hamilton Heights just after 7 p.m. when a half-dozen individuals approached and punched and kicked him, according to police. One of them also used a weapon to pistol-whip him in the head.

Police said the group stole his Air Jordan sneakers, $20 cash, and a fanny pack.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition and is expected to recover.
