The NYPD released images Monday of a suspect who reportedly groped a woman at a Tribeca subway stop over the weekend before punching her in the face for confronting him.
The 37-year-old woman was walking up a stairway at the Canal Street station on the A line around 2 p.m. Saturday when the man grabbed her breasts through her clothing, according to police.
That triggered an argument between the two of them, and he punched her in the face, according to police.
According to authorities, she suffered a facial laceration and denied further medical assistance at the site.
He escaped the station and is still at large.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
