Two teenagers were shot in a moving vehicle on Chicago’s South Side early Sunday morning, according to police.
Police said they responded to a complaint regarding two gunshot victims who walked into Comer Children’s Hospital shortly before 3 a.m.
A 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were driving in the West Woodlawn neighborhood’s 700-block of East 61st Street when they heard a loud noise and felt discomfort, according to police.
Both teenagers were shot in the legs and took themselves to the hospital, where they are listed in good condition.
There is no one in custody, and Area One detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately release more details regarding the shooting.
