Two men were apprehended for allegedly stealing copper wiring from electrical poles in the 200 block of Timber Forest, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 3.
Following a pursuit with a K-9 unit, deputies arrested Christopher Williams and Marcos Jones.
When deputies arrived, Christopher Williams, age not supplied, was found seated in a car, with Marcos Jones, age not provided, standing close. Jones fled on foot when deputies approached, prompting officers to use a taser twice to apprehend him. Despite being tased, Jones fled into a wooded area, according to a press release.
A perimeter was formed, and K-9 Docz was dispatched to track Jones. The K-9 squad successfully tracked Jones down 300 yards into the woods, resulting in his instant surrender. According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 3, Williams and Jones were both charged with unauthorized possession of copper wire and were transferred to the Harris County Jail.
