A Chittenango couple was detained on charges related to alleged child abuse.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrested Holly Craner, 24, and Brandon Griffin, 30, on October 9 after receiving accusations of them physically abusing a 6-year-old a week before.
A sheriff’s deputy told NewsChannel 9 that the claims included “excessive corporal punishment.”
Both faced charges of second-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree aggravated harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing, and third-degree menacing. They were both booked into the Madison County Jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
