UC Sports Nation covers high school sports in Tennessee’s Upper Cumberland.
We follow the schools of Putnam, Cumberland, White, Warren, Overton, Jackson, Clay, DeKalb, Fentress, Macon, Smith and the neighboring counties: football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, softball, cross country, track, wrestling, golf and tennis. We report results, playoff and tournament paths, coaching changes, facility decisions and the people who keep these programs going.
How we report
Every story starts from a source a reader can check: TSSAA brackets, results and rules, official school and school-district announcements, school board agendas and minutes, and interviews with coaches and administrators. We link to those sources when they are public. We do not yet have reporters at every game, so we say where each score or statistic comes from.
We are careful with student athletes. We use names that schools and the TSSAA publish, we do not report on injuries or discipline without an official source, and we remove a student’s name on a family’s reasonable request.

About this website’s past
An earlier, unrelated site used the ucsportsnation.com address from about 2019 to 2024, and the domain was later used by other operators. Flaunt Weekly LLC registered the domain in October 2026 and relaunched it with new reporting. We have no connection to the site’s previous owners, staff or partners, and we have not reused their stories.
