Two suspects have been taken into custody in connection with a string of robberies in Houston.
The suspects, Breon Twine and Larry Wiley, both 23, face charges of robbery with bodily injury and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
According to the Houston Police Robbery Division, the first incident took place on August 23, about 9:50 p.m., when a woman was assaulted and robbed of her handbag in a parking lot in the 4700 block of Beechnut.
The culprits’ gold Toyota Camry dragged another victim to the same location on August 25.
Detectives released surveillance footage, and tips to Crime Stoppers helped identify Twine and Wiley.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office served warrants last month.
On Wednesday, HPD officers from the Southeast Crime Suppression squad apprehended both individuals and lodged them into the Harris County Jail.
Booking images of Twine and Wiley have been released. The suspects will face charges in the 232nd State District Court.
