A Mississippi man was detained after allegedly telling officials that he impregnated a 12-year-old.
According to the Sun Herald, Kurtis Emmert, 36, went to the Harrison County Jail on September 28, 2025, to report he had impregnated the child.
According to the jail’s website, Emmert was charged with lustfully touching a child. His bond amount was set at $250,000.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office stated the investigation is still ongoing and might result in additional charges.
