Ohio Congressional candidate apprehended and accused of pointing gun at man

The founder of an Ohio nonprofit who is also running for US Congress was apprehended on Sunday in Hamilton County.

Rosemary Oglesby-Henry, 46, was arrested for aggravated menacing, according to online jail records.

Oglesby-Henry is accused of pointing a gun at a man after arguing with him at his Westwood home, according to WLWT in Cincinnati.

According to WXIX in Cincinnati, the victim informed police that he feared “harm would come to him.”

She is scheduled to appear in court today, according to jail records.

Oglesby-Henry declared her candidacy for Ohio’s first congressional district earlier this month. WLWT reported that she is running as a Republican.

She also founded Rosemary’s Babies Company. The group offers support to teen parents in the Greater Cincinnati area.
