On the evening of September 27, Oxnard Police arrested 25-year-old Larry Cisneros on firearm charges following a traffic stop on Saviers Road. Officers discovered a loaded 9mm gun after noticing ammunition inside his vehicle.
The routine traffic stop, reported at 7:30 PM, escalated when officers, prioritizing public and personal safety, found the weapon. Cisneros was then detained on multiple gun-related offenses.
Investigation ongoing
Commander Kevin Baysinger, who oversees the investigation, is asking the public for any additional information about this case or related criminal activity. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Ventura County Crime Stoppers.
“Anyone with information regarding this case or other criminal activity is encouraged to contact the Oxnard Police Department,” the department said in a statement.
