The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, with the help of the U.S. Marshal Service Gulf Coast Regional Task Force, executed multiple arrests following a nearly two-year investigation into a drug trafficking organization.
According to a sheriff with the agency, the organization distributed pounds of cocaine, meth, and other prohibited narcotics in all four counties: Marshall, DeSoto, Lafayette, and Benton.
According to the sheriff, 11 federal arrest warrants have been issued for the suspects.
All of them were brought to the Federal Courthouse in Oxford, Mississippi.
Though numerous people were held, the sheriff stated that more arrests are on the way and that the investigation is still underway.
